Eco Business Development Manager

CALVELLI RSP is scouting for an « EcoProducts Business Development Manager» on behalf of VENATOR.
Venator is currently recruiting for an EcoProducts Business Development Manager to join its international team in a role key to deliver our business sustainability targets.
Job responsibilities include:
Seek and develop viable co-product business options, including partnerships, for the manufacturing site. This will include identifying innovative solutions and associated new business, marketing and product opportunities for synthetic gypsum
Lead business development projects / teams / external partners to establish and commercialise co-product opportunities. (including Venture Management).
Ensure Eco-Products strategy is in line with site sustainability strategy and keep the ECO Business Director informed of significant developments and changes.
Prepare, maintain and deliver the Site EcoProducts Five Year Business Plan which leads towards the strategic objectives of reducing landfill, disposal and maximising revenue generation. Business plans to be aligned with overall site operations.
To manage all commercial aspects of the site EcoProducts business development and sales in order to meet the EcoProducts performance targets in-line with delivery of the site sustainability plans and environmental requirements.
Deliver on agreed product sales volumes.
Maintain and develop strong customer service record, based upon sales contracts and SLA arrangements.
Manage EcoProducts costs and budgets, including new project economics in line with agreed targets, ensuring JV profitability where applicable.
Develop new SKUs by Key Market Segments and applications, e.g. Agriculture, Cement, construction etc and any other potential market sectors
Dealing with Internal and External Stakeholders
Ensure all EcoProducts business activities are operated and controlled in line with both Group and local legal, commercial and financial requirements and standards.
All activities and duties to be performed in compliance with the BGT level, Company and Corporate Policies and national/international regulatory standards in relation to EHS, QA and PSW.
Job-related work experience, skills/knowledge requirements
Job holder should be a seasoned commercial professional with a relevant sector background. They should have considerable experience in several of the following areas:
-direct selling experience
-complex sales and contract negotiations
-market analysis and planning
-development of new business opportunities into commercial projects
-Understanding of EU/Italy waste management legislation would be an advantage
-Good knowledge of environmental regulations and future trends which may apply to the fertilizer, iron chemicals, construction/cement and gypsum market areas.
Knowledge of Competition Law and Product Stewardship responsibilities is required.
Strong financial awareness and supporting skills to manage and report Profit and Loss Accounts, balance sheet and cash flow management. In addition should be able to complete financial analysis to support business case preparation.
Appropriate level of higher education qualification in either a technical or business relevant field.
